SIA VECTORA ("we", "our", or "us") operates the HideNSeek mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect:

• Email address
• Username
• Password (stored in hashed form; we never store it in plain text)
• Country and language preference
• Device platform (Android or iOS)

Profile Information

• Profile avatar / photo (uploaded from your camera or gallery)
• Game scores (total score, taking score, putting score)
• In-game currency balances and purchased items

Location Data

The App requires access to your precise location while the App is in use — on Android via ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, and on iOS via the "When In Use" location permission. Location data is the core mechanic of the game — it is used to place and discover hidden secrets at real-world GPS coordinates. Location data is transmitted to our servers only to support gameplay and is not sold or shared with third parties.

Camera and Photos

We request access to your device camera and photo library — on Android via the CAMERA, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permissions, and on iOS via the Camera and Photo Library permissions — solely to allow you to set or update your profile avatar. Images are uploaded to our servers and are not used for any other purpose.

Device Information

• A unique device identifier generated at first launch, used to associate your session with your account
• Push notification token (used to send gameplay notifications)

Gameplay Data

• Hidden secrets you place (GPS coordinates, content, metadata)
• Hidden secrets you discover or take
• In-game activity and interactions

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To operate core gameplay features (placing and finding hidden secrets by location)
• To display your profile and scores to other players
• To allow you to upload and display a profile avatar
• To send you relevant in-game notifications (if enabled)
• To respond to support requests and account recovery
• To maintain the security and integrity of the App

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers operated by SIA VECTORA. Authentication tokens stored on your device are encrypted using AES-256 encryption. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration.

Some data (scores, profile information) is also cached locally on your device in an encrypted local database to enable offline access.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except:

• Legal obligations: if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request
• Business transfer: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash reporting services.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
